Polysun
The background is a visualization of a mathematical process for calculating the roots of z4 = 1. For the centerpiece, imagine a picture of a sunset lying flat on a table with a large mirrored sphere on top of it. The center of Polysun is the reflection of the portion of sunset that is on the bottom of the sphere.
Aztec
No doubt the Aztecs were well educated before the Spanish arrived in the 15th century. This can be seen in the design of their shields that reflect the classic fore edge of antique books of the 19th century!!
Subtleties
A study in the blending of light and shape gives form and depth to an image that is rendered with only shades of tan and purple.
Sea Critter
A delicate creature, found only deep in a ocean of fractals, this one was caught unawares. It is not known how such creatures reproduce or even what distinguishes female from male.
Intrusion
A mystical fractal, designed to entrap the viewer in a web of obtuse forms and shapes, overshadowed by the merging of a new - and more energetic - generation of fractals.
Goldback
This picture, although abstract, is meant to envisage an image of the American Southwest.
Pagoda
A variation of "Cosh Two" designed to look like a pagoda.
